Gaslight Press Established as Premium Game Publishing Studio

Seattle, WA (April 6, 2001) - On February 23, 2001, Richard Thames Rowan announced the foundation of Gaslight Press as a new publishing studio for paper-based roleplaying games. Richard Thames Rowan has been deeply involved in both the hobby and computer games industries since July of 1995, playing an instrumental role in the establishment of both Rubicon Games and Lamplighter Design Studio as game publishers.

Mr. Rowan commented on the future of Gaslight Press, "I am personally very excited about the products that Gaslight Press will be releasing in the years to come, and I am very proud of the clarity of vision that we have for these product lines. We are committed to setting new standards for product quality within the hobby game industry by working with the best designers, artists, graphic designers, editors, and printers. As we announce our product line acquisitions and development plans over the coming weeks, I think this commitment to quality will become apparent."

Gaslight Press will launch a new web site (www.gaslightpress.com) supporting their products on April 15, 2001. Announcements regarding specific product lines are still forthcoming.
