Gaslight Press Acquires Everway™ Roleplaying Game Line

Seattle, WA (April 8, 2001) - In February 2001, Gaslight Press and Games & Gizmos, Inc. reached an agreement to transfer all rights and ownership interest in the Everway™ roleplaying game line to Gaslight Press. As part of the agreement, Gaslight Press also acquired all rights to the Rubicon® trademark.

The president of Gaslight Press, Richard Thames Rowan, said, "Everway is an extremely innovative product, and has a great deal of potential for future development. The greatest need for the product line is a new edition of the core game that focuses more tightly on the core hobby game customer base. We are committed to creating a new edition of the game that updates the game for today's audience and positions the game for success."

Everway is a unique diceless roleplaying system that uses symbols and imagery to moderate game play. Designed by Jonathan Tweet, the game was first released by Wizards of the Coast, Inc. in August 1995.
